Well I've noticed something... I have the musicians curse.(dunn dunn DUNN) The musicians curse is that you hardly ever get hiccups but when you do it last for a long time (1-7 days) and hurts like crazy. I noticed this in 4th grade when I started a wind instrument. It is probably only for winds since it has to do with the mouth. Anyways please comment and tell me if it is just me or if anybody else gets that or tell me if there is something for other families of instruments.
I think you have...*hold your breath* ...just plain old hiccups. You just get them for a really loooooooooong time. Hey, maybe you can enter for a world record for hiccups for a long period of time. But you'd have to do it for l longer amount of time. Take a look at what I found on the internet:The world record for the longest continuous bout of hiccups goes to Charles Osborne (1894–1991) from Anthon, Iowa. The hiccups started in 1922 at a rate of 40 times per minute, slowing to 20 and eventually stopping in February 1990 – a total of 68 years. Crazy huh.
